Basics of Instructing – fi

Welcome to the basics of instructing! This section is aimed at new instructors and requires no prior knowledge or experience in instructing. You will see that instructing is not difficult and it will give you meaningful experiences every step of the way.

As an instructor you will:

• Learn and experience new things and enable others to to learn and get experiences
• You get to do important work with children
• You can use your existing skills, but they are not required

The 1st part of this section lays out the foundation of instructing children’s sport, the 2nd part looks at the role of the instructor.
