Create a positive atmosphere
Try to create experiences of success for everyone – regardless of skill level
Remember: it is not the child’s fault if they are weaker than others
Praise and encourage
You can have fun, but you have to stop fooling around. For example, when giving instructions, do not talk or do anything else.
Use positive sentences:
Don’t drop your hips
Lift your hips a little morea
Show that you are interested. Be present!
Ask:
How the kids are doing at the beginning of the training
During the training:
how did it go?
how do you feel?
was it fun?
Your own throw and putt are practiced on your own in time. Of course, you can sometimes compete with kids.
Give feedback to everyone. You can decide in advance, to whom at least you will give feedback this time.
Engage the kids by allowing them to participate
One important motivator is the experience of being able to influence what you do.
However, remember that you have to stay in control during the exercises.
Let the juniors for example choose throwing spots for the exercises
Putting HORSE
Collect the disc
Let the juniors choose e.g.
warmup games
