Children’s training should be planned to include as much activity as possible and as little waiting as possible. Each child should feel the joy of success and achievement, so each activity should be planned so that it can adjust to different skill levels.
Before planning the actual training, familiarize yourself with the place and space. Find out how to enter the place, where to find all the equipment, who else might be present etc. What if you can’t make it one day? Who will substitute you? What if the space is not available?
It is good to plan a parent’s meeting for the guardians before the or at the 1st training session to introduce yourself and the ground rules and explain what is expected of the guardians themselves. How to communicate with the parents/guardians? Activate parents too!
What equipment is available and where are they stored? Are there other groups using the same space and equipment?
