A good place to run a training group is a sand field. Sand makes it easy to mark spots for throwing or draw target zones, lines etc. Also it is safe with no other users and makes it is easy to have participants move around between activities without waiting. If you use a football field, you can also use the goals as targets or osbtacles. Grass fields work as well, but you need more cones etc. for marking.
