A putt version of the traditional head-to-head game. A fun putting game that encourages creative putts.
Supplies
- 3 discs for each player
- A basket for each group. If necessary, several groups can use the same basket. Instead of baskets, you can also use tree trunks (hit = basket).
Preparations
Divide the players into groups of 2-3.
Rules
- Taking turns, one from the group chooses a putting spot, marks it with a marker (or a disc) and putts 3 discs from it.
- Other players in the group putt from the same place.
- In general, misses are given “letters”, eventually forming a word. If you form the whole world, you are knocked out of the game. The group can choose the word themselves.
- Three possible specific rules for getting a letter:
- If you miss all 3 putts
- If you miss the most putts of the group
- If you miss more putts than another player (i.e. if player 1 makes 1/3 and player 2 makes 3/3, player 1 receives two letters)
Variations
- Players can announce a special rule for their chosen putt: i.e. “forehand only”, “eyes closed”, “straddle putt”, “standing on one foot”, etc.
