A bit like biathlon, except without the shooting and the skiing. A simple team game with running and putting.
Supplies
- Two baskets
- At least the same number of putters as players
- A cone or something else to mark the penalty lap
Preparations
- Divide the group into two teams
- Set baskets and mark putting spots (see diagram)
- Mark a penalty lap
The Rules
- Pairs of one player from each team are sent to get the first putter. You can send new pairs every couple of seconds.
- The players run to the putting-line.
- The players try to make the putt from the line
- If the putt is successful, the player runs to fetch a new disc (1). If the putt misses, the player either:
- retrieves the disc, goes around the penalty lap and putts from a closer spot. This is repeated until a successful putt. Or,
- does a predetermined exercise (e.g. 5 push-ups) and goes to get a new disc
- The winner is the team that has gotten more discs into its own basket when the discs run out.
